Hands-on soft tissue therapy, remedial massage, and the Emmett Technique to ease discomfort, improve mobility, and help you move with confidence.
Struggling with Back, Knee, or Muscle Pain?
Find Relief in Worcester Park
In my home treatment room, I combine hands-on soft tissue therapy techniques to reduce pain, relax tight muscles, and get you back to active living. Every session is tailored to your body and your needs — because I don’t just treat symptoms, I take a whole-body approach to help identify the causes of your pain and provide long-term relief.
For example, a shoulder pain might actually be caused by tension or misalignment in your hips or pelvis. By looking at the body as a whole, we treat the source, not just the symptom.
Pain is not a natural part of ageing—it's a sign that your body needs care, not acceptance.
Now is the time to prioritise your self care
What is Soft Tissue Therapy?
Soft tissue therapy is a hands-on approach to relieving pain and restoring movement.
Depending on your needs, treatment may include techniques such as remedial massage, sports massage and the Emmett Technique. I don’t follow a fixed routine, each session is tailored to what your body needs on the day, with the aim of reducing pain, improving movement and addressing the underlying cause, not just the symptoms.
It can help with:
✔ Relieving tension and pain
✔ Improving range of movement and flexibility
✔ Reducing the risk of injury
✔ Treating knee, shoulder, and lower back issues
✔ Relieving repetitive strain injuries and sprains
✔ Improving posture and movement efficiency
✔ Supporting circulation, lymphatic flow, and scar tissue remodeling
Treatments start at £65

Sports & Remedial Massage
Sports and remedial massage is a form of soft tissue therapy designed to reduce pain, ease muscular tension and improve movement. While it can include deep tissue work, effective treatment isn’t about applying pressure for the sake of it.
A skilled soft tissue therapist uses deep tissue massage alongside a range of other techniques, selecting what’s most appropriate based on what you present with and how your body responds during the session.
Techniques may include (but are not limited to):
Neuromuscular stretching
Myofascial release
Deep tissue massage
Trigger point therapy
Soft tissue release
Treatment is always adapted in the moment — there’s no “one-size-fits-all” approach.
You do not need to be sporty to benefit from this treatment. Sports and remedial massage is suitable for anyone experiencing muscular tightness, aches, pain or ongoing discomfort, whether that’s from exercise, work, stress or everyday life..
The Emmett Technique
The Emmett Technique is a gentle, light-touch therapy, making it particularly suitable for those who are sensitive to pain or simply prefer a more subtle approach.
This highly targeted technique works by applying light pressure to specific points in the body, helping the nervous system relax and release unnecessary muscle tension. Many clients experience an immediate sense of ease and improved movement during or shortly after their session.
Because the technique is so precise and effective, some people notice significant improvement after just one session, while others may benefit from a short course of treatments depending on their presentation and goals.

FAQS
How many sessions will I need?
The number of sessions you have is dependent on you and your outcome goals. Most clients find they achieve a lot of relief from just one session. Some clients come because they have limited movement in a joint, which causes pain - for many, full range of movement is restored in their first session and they don’t feel a need to return.
Others have more complex needs so they opt for more in depth programmes.
We discuss your options during your call or initial session. You are not committed to a follow up programme when you book in for one session. My goal is to get you to where you want to be as fast as possible.
Where do sessions take place?
My treatment and training room is in Worcester Park, KT4 7BE.
Are you the same as a physio?
Physiotherapists help people maintain health and treat injuries, illnesses, and disabilities using movement, exercise, and other techniques - I do this too, however as therapists we all have slightly different tools and we use them differently. One of my tools is EMMETT Technique, which is gentle, yet extremely effective at eliciting a muscle relaxation response. Exercises are recommended to change and improve long term movement.
Can I just have a massage?
No. I apply the most effective techniques I have to hand in order to get my clients fast, effective results - pain relief. This means the EMMETT Technique often trumps massage. I do however sometimes integrate the use of some remedial massage techniques such as vibrations, neuro-muscular stretching, trigger point therapy to name a few. Massages are not offered as a stand alone treatment.
