The Get Fit and Run programme offer:

The Get Fit and Run rolling programme is designed for beginners and improvers, to help you get fitter and improve your ability to run comfortably for 30 – 40 mins.

Who you are

You are new to fitness or you recently started running but finding it challenging on your own. You run between 3- 5k slowly or you may still be on a run-walk programme. You’re not sure you love running but you want to get fitter. You want to improve your energy levels, tone your arms and legs and be able to fit back into the clothes you love.

Where you’re at

You want to get fitter and you want to feel energised. You may be new to running or maybe you’ve tried to run but not very far or for very long. You’re still looking to make running an enjoyable experience and you want to be able to run a 5k comfortably.

What your issues tend to be

You aren’t losing the weight you want yet. You’re not doing anything consistently to help yourself, as a result the weight isn’t shifting.

You feel fed up that your clothes no longer fit right and your body is not what it used to be. You’re concerned about your health as you’re getting older but you don’t really know what you should be doing. You find the gym boring and you’re struggling to get motivated to work out and run on your own.

You need to get fitter and you’d like to enjoy going for short runs. You want to do it within a supportive motivating group.

Get Fit and Run is a 12 week programme made up of two 6 week blocks.

You will:

  • Build strength so running feels easier.

  • Work out more effectively so you can get fitter faster and back into your favourite clothes sooner.

  • Learn the importance of varying your training.

  • Train with a fun and motivating group.

This programme is suitable for anyone who wants to get fitter and improve their running. You may already be on a run-walk programme or perhaps you’re already running a 5k but want to enjoy it more and train with a fun and motivating group.

What you get:

  • 12 50 minute Get Fit and Run circuit classes designed to help you create a stronger, more balanced body that will improve your fitness faster so you can run better. You will also tone and firm so you can look and feel better.

  • 12 group runs – run with like-minded women who want to improve and enjoy their running. Build your 5k stamina. Those on a run-walk programme who want to improve are welcome to join.

  • Access to a dedicated Get Fit and Run Facebook group.

  • This programme will run for 12 weeks in 2 terms. Newbies are welcome to join during term 1.

  • The class is capped to 12 people in order to allow for some individual coaching.
